Bringing back the 90’s

I just finished watching a Korean movie called Project Makeover.
The main character is ‘depressed’. Her first love from high school is famous and she sees his face everywhere. Because of regret, she blames him for all her misery. She gets a chance to go back in time and fix it all up. During her journey she realizes someone that adores and cares for the younger her all this time and tries to set him up with her but that doesn’t really work out and I guess you could blame it on fate. After all her trying, she still came out with the same outcome but I guess that was alright since it was an experience that was eye opening to her.
I really enjoyed this movie. If couldn’t tell by now, it is a romantic comedy. It reminds me of Reply 1997 (Korean drama) because this movie also has a 90’s hip-hop group included. I think I liked this movie 10x more just because of the 90’s group. It makes me wish that I grew up in the 90’s and knew about Korean Pop and Hip-Hop. I personally like it the music and also their dance moves are so much simpler compared to Korean groups today! Like seriously, I always wanted to be one of those people singing a long to my favorite groups song and dancing their whole routine and just being the biggest fan girl ever okay. That really isn’t possible when they do advanced and multiple dance steps. Maybe this is why I like K-indie more…because they don’t dance and just sing. I’m just kidding (I think) I really enjoyed the song they played in movie

I can’t help but laugh as I watch and listen because I just find this very cute in a way.
Also I really enjoyed H.O.T’s song that was played a lot in Reply 1997!
What if I go through a phase where I just listen to old Korean groups like these? I hope I do!!  That would be awesome even though it probably won’t happen. I will tryyyyyy.
