M4M–Sadness

I just saw a gif from the MV ‘Sadness’ which caused me to write about this group, M4M!
I heard songs from Chinese Pop groups in the past. I thought it was cool, but it never grabbed my attention..until now. I guess they are recommended a K-pop group because they are under a Korean label (United Cube) but calling them K-pop wouldn’t make sense because it’s not Korean…it’s Chinese? = C-Pop! (hayyy~)
Now that I know that they are under a Korean label, I know why they got my attention. The sound, the dance moves, MV, etc. are all Korean-like.

The members:

Alen : Vocal/Main singer
Jimmy : Leader
Vinson : Main Dancer
WoBin : Rapper
Typical teasers. The one I enjoyed the most was Jimmy’s. I have already fell for Jimmy and have been fangirling over mainly him while watching the teasers and the MV. Someone left a comment on his teaser which I think we can all agree on.

I go nuts over CNU (from b1a4) and even though L. Joe has been my bby since day 1, CAP is just unf (from Teen Top).
The Music Video:
The theme going on (including outfits) remind me so much of MBLAQ. They picked a good group of guys: opposites that all blend together. They also picked popular hairstyles that were stylish but also suited each of them which I personally think is very important. Going towards more the end, dubstep starts to play and I automatically think of ‘NU’EST’  (they did the dubstep ending in TWO MVs). I really like this group and would probably still in the future but I hope to see them be more original. I referenced two groups they remind me of and I could probably add 5 more groups onto that list. I understand that you can get inspired by other groups but it just felt like they just did a big Copy and Paste (EXTREME copy and paste because Dalmatian is added onto that list now!). Also, no offense to the ‘United Cube’ agency, but it seems like that they are trying have everyone drool over their group like they do to EXO-M, EXO-K…You are a Korean Company yet you specifically made a Chinese speaking group. *a round of applause for this group/company and their originality*. I would never in a millions of years blame the guys in this group (because it’s not their fault at all) so I’ll apologize if does come off that way to anyone who is reading this.
On the bright side, they do have that ‘2011 k-pop vibe’. I liked K-pop of 2011 the most out of all of the years. Instead of enjoying only a couple of groups, I enjoyed various and large amounts of groups and songs. Also, the trend K-pop had going on back in 2011, was perfection. Of course, it couldn’t stay the same but I wish it did but then again, that doesn’t matter because M4M is bringing back the sweet taste of 2011! WOOhOOO~ Even though this group isn’t original at all, I actually don’t mind it and they will probably improve in the future! I will not judge them off their first released song and I will also not try to hate on them because they probably worked so hard for this so good job and good luck M4M!
